Social Emotional Learning Foundations (SELF)
The mission of the Winnebago County Special Education Cooperative Social Emotional Learning Foundation (SELF) Academy is to provide high quality academic instruction in a caring and safe environment where students learn to develop prosocial behaviors, self-worth, self-control, and emotional competence.

Instructional Programs
The mission of the Winnebago County Special Education Cooperative Instructional Programs is to provide high-quality specialized instruction for each student in keeping with their individual needs and learning styles in order to develop independence, reach their fullest potential, and contribute to their communities in meaningful and positive ways.

Our K-3 East Primary Instructional Program is located at Whitman Post Elementary School, 1060 E Union Street, Rockton, IL 61072

Our 3-5 West Primary Instructional Program is located at Durand Elementary School, 200 West South St., Durand, IL. 61024

Our 5-8 Intermediate Instructional Program is located at Stephen Mack Middle School, 11810 Old River Road, Rockton, IL 61072
EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM
Extended School Year (ESY) programming is offered to students in Early Childhood up to 7th grade. We provide instruction and related services as agreed upon by the IEP. IEP teams will determine the need for ESY throughout the school year for 2024. ESY will be housed at Kinnikinnick School from July 8th-August 1st, Monday-Thursday.
